I spent several minutes trying to scrounge up a Zoids joke, and I’ve got nothing.
Zoids is one of those things that never gained the same sort of popularity other model-based lines (like, for example, Gundam) enjoyed. And as far as the franchise is concerned, Zoids: Genesis pretty much killed off the animated part of the franchise. Until now, that is: Takara Tomy is giving the line a major, cross-media resurgence in a new series: Zoids Wild. The new line includes new model kits, a new manga, a new anime, and surprisingly, a new game for the Nintendo Switch.
There’s basically no info in regards to the story-related parts of the line right now. And nothing about the game, either. But those models sure are detailed, aren’t they?
