Zelda is a pretty amazing franchise. Nintendo has made very few missteps with the series, with each earning critical acclaim. That even goes for the portable outings that always pushed things to the max. Sure, there are those CDi games that Nintendo didn’t make, only coming about due to a failed partnership with Philips.
While we wait for the new Zelda (now pushed back into 2017) we can feast our eyes on this demonstration video of The Ocarina of Time running on the Unreal Engine 4.
YouTube user CryZENx put this demo together to showcase his skills and giving us a taste of what Zelda might look like running on the engine. Sure, this will never fly as Nintendo keeps everything, including game engines, in-house, but it still looks great.
