It’s not surprising to see a very Zelda inspired game smash it’s Kickstarter goal in only three days time, especially so close to the release of the latest Zelda title. People like Zelda and want more of that sort of adventure, and to be fair, Pine looks like it might just offer that.
The world is vibrant and unique, with an artstyle more Skyward Sword than Breath of the Wild. But the real kicker, at least for me, is that amazing soundtrack in play. These Zelda clone, if you will, often overlook the impact that the music has in drawing the player in, and if Pine can keep up what is on display in the trailer, then the team might just have something,
The game, inspired by the adventurous Zelda-series combined with the dynamic choice-based progression of the Fable-series, has been topping the Kickstarter charts since. With over 1,100 backers on board, Pine seems off to a good start.
