The Big Bang Theory is, currently, one of if not the most successful sitcoms on television right now. You know, despite the not inconsiderable hatedom it’s garnered over the years from my fellow nerds. So it’s not really a surprise it got a spinoff: young Sheldon.
The series seems to be exactly what it says on the tin; it’s Sheldon, when he was young. Nine years old, to be precise. But it’s not shot like a three camera sitcom, like its parent show. If anything, It reminds me a lot of The Wonder Years, what with the family aspect mixed with the voiceover from his character as an adult.
That said, I’ll just leave this here and let you decide.

young Sheldon Premieres on Monday, September 25, after which it will be moved to a regular timeslot on Thursdays, after its parent show, November 2.
~That lowercase “y” irks the hell out of me. Had to fix it in everything after I realize it was supposed to be lowercase.~
