Yahoo Screen was supposed to be the next big thing in streaming television from Yahoo. They even made a high-profile grab to have a new season Community be exclusive to the platform. While this did help, and while the new season of Community was pretty good, it just wasn’t enough to keep the service afloat.
The problem really came down to Community being the only major original program that the service had, and with nothing else to keep users engaged, people switched back over to Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu for their content fix. While Yahoo Screen may be no more, you can still watch the archives of content that the service had –including Community– via their Yahoo’s archive.
