Xbox One Gets $50 Price Cut

Xbox One

The Xbox One has been lagging behind the Playstation 4 since this current console generation started. It now seems that Microsoft is taking the competition very seriously this holiday season as it has just announced another price cut to the Xbox One console.

Normally priced at $499, the Xbox One will now be priced at $349 with the new special promotion. That’s $50 right off the top this holiday season and as far as we know, this will only be a temporary drop in price on the console.

Now that Microsoft has finally found out what it wants the Xbox One to be (early marketing curiously left out that it was a video game console first), this price drop makes the Xbox One cheaper than the Sony Playstation 4. With both consoles now having some time in the wild, the two of them seem to be evenly matched in terms of content and power, so this new $349 price tag should sway consumers looking to save some money this holiday season.
