You will own nothing, and you also won’t be able to access it sometimes.
Xbox Live suffered a major outage yesterday. And, if you believe it, there’s still no one that knows the reason why.
The good news was that everything was back to normal after ~7 hours. The bad news is that 7 hours represented peak traffic hours, starting around 2:07 pm ET, leaving many on Xbox with no means of logging in to avail themselves of the system’s services; no Game Pass, No Xbox Cloud, nothing related to Xbox Live, including games users had downloaded (and even some disc-based games). You likely couldn’t even buy games from the Microsoft store, as it seemed to affect anything Microsoft, including Minecraft servers.
That’s right, you probably couldn’t even build brown bricks.
During that time, many took to social media to complain, and poke fun at, the outage.
As of now, there’s been no word on what caused the outage from Microsoft. Just a message that things were fixed when the outage ended.
Sure is nice they stuck some DRM in your DRM so you could enjoy DRM in your DRM. Right?
