Ubisoft is finally changing things up from their usual free game offerings to include Watch Dogs 2 on PC.
We’ve covered almost every time that Ubisoft has hosted a free game event and it’s become predictable on what they offer. It’s almost always the same thing with either Rayman Legends or Watchdogs being tossed to fans.
Look, getting a free game is a real treat but by this time nearly everyone has these games in their libraries, either from Ubisoft’s free offerings or from heavy discounts on other store platforms.
But now they are offering up Watch Dogs 2 on PC for free. That’s great news as the game is a good bit of fun, especially since by this point you’ve played the first for free.
All you have to do to score the game is log into your Uplay account after the Trackmania playthrough during the Ubisoft Forward event on July 12. You’ll have until the end of the show to score the game.
I won’t be watching the event because Ubisoft isn’t my personal cup of tea, so if you are like me you can simply set an alert in your favorite calendar app to let you know when to get on a snag the game.
Ubisoft Forward kicks off on July 12 at noon pacific time, so set your watches to snag a free game or if, you know, you want to watch whatever Ubisoft is up to.
