Today independent developer Fatshark announced a free weekend for their game Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide on Steam.
“If you haven’t yet had the chance to try Vermintide, this is the perfect time.” says Martin Wahlund, Fatshark founder and CEO. “We’ve ordered a massive amount of enemies so as not to run out mid-weekend, and we will be restocking Skaven on an hourly basis.”
Fatshark has just released the brand new Drachenfels DLC that includes three new levels deep in the Grey Mountains. Fight inside Castle Drachenfels, a mysterious fortification in which the Skaven seek an item of dire significance. The Dungeons, where a curious darkness prevails that can only be pierced by a torchlight. Last but not least head outside to Summoner’s Peak where ancient portals are being used to call upon the relentless Skaven reinforcements.
Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide has sold over half a million copies on PC. This is the fourth DLC released so far, with more on the way. Console versions are announced, with a release date to be announced soon. The game itself plays like the Left 4 Dead series, so grab a couple of friends and get to killing in the Warhammer universe. Also, is it just me, or does Games Workshop give the Warhammer licence to anyone that asks?
The Drachenfels DLC is available now for $8.99 via Steam.
