News to everybody.
Walmart Canada made a massive update to their site recently, including pre-orders for a bunch of games that may or may not actually be on the way. Spotted by Wario64 on Twitter, the listings include games everyone knew were coming (Final Fantasy VII Remake, Metroid Prime 4), games fans have been suspecting (Splinter Cell 3, Borderlands 3), and the unexpected (Rage 2, an untitled Assassin’s Creed game).

Most of them don’t seem legit. For example, Forza Horizons 5, not only featuring an “s” at the end there, but also jumping the gun on Forza Horizon 4, which hasn’t even been announced yet. Then there’s Dragon Quest 2, which is likely Dragon Quest Builders 2, since no one outside of Japan is asking for another remake of Dragon Quest 2.
And, for some of the games developers, these sequels are news, too. Bethesda weighed in as only they could (by clipping through the terrain):

It would be a fair guess that whoever is responsible for this is in deep shit right now. But, hey! You never know; E3 is right around the corner. Maybe the Forza people will announce 2 sequels in one press conference.
