You can’t get rid of them all, Nick.
Nickelodeon has removed two episodes of Spongebob Squarepants from both its schedule and streaming services. The news of these removals came from CNN.
The more recent was the removal of the episode Kwarantined Krab due to sensitivites related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The episode saw a health inspector visit the Krusty Krab and discover an outbreak of the “clam flu”. According to Nickelodeon spokesman David Bittler:
[Kwarantined Krab] was never put on the schedule to be sensitive to the pandemic outbreak last year.David Bittler, Nickelodeon Spokesman
The second of these, Mid-Life Crustacean was actually removed from rotation in 2018 following an internal review that found it to no longer be child appropriate.

The episode saw Mr. Krabs feeling old, and asking to go out for a wild boy’s night on the town with Spongebob and Patrick. The episode follows an underwhelmed Mr. Krabs, who eventually gets fed up with what Spongebob an Patrick consider a wild night out. Well, up until the infamous line…
What then follows could probably be best described as one of the most massive “Yo Momma” jokes in existence.
Yeah, I can see why this one got chucked.
But hey, it’s not like they can get rid of all of those “over-the-head” jokes the early (i.e. good) seasons had.
Worst case scenario, close your eyes and rotate a cow in your mind.
