A new trailer for the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick is here and it features so pretty intense airborne action. We don’t get a lot of details on the plot but that’s to be expected. Look, this is Top Gun and that means planes going really fast doing some really crazy shit up in the sky.
What we do know is that Mr. Volleyball has been teaching young pilots what it takes to stay alive up in the sky. It’s a very different world than it was in 1986 and this new Navy has been at war for years and is full of fancy gizmos and gadgets. Maverick is invited (ordered) back into action for some reason, most likely to do with leading a squad to blow up some really nasty drones.
Tom Cruise never does anything small, so expect to see some incredible shots and scenes filmed using real Navy planes. This might not be a legendary as the original, but you better believe that your eyes will be having a great time with everything going on.
