You didn’t think that Disney buying up all things Star Wars meant they would automatically treat the franchise with respect, did you? Sure, Force Awakens was pretty amazing, but you can get in about five-years when we have 15 new Star Wars films, we are going to look back and wishing Disney didn’t buy up Star Wars. Disney has just released the shortlist for the actors it is looking at to play a young Han Solo, because we all know how important and amazing prequel/origin stories are. I mean, can you think of any origin story that didn’t make an already cool character even more cool?
Anyways, here is the list of actors on the list:
Emory Cohen (The Place Beyond The Pines)
Miles Teller (Fantastic Four, Whiplash, Project X)
Ansel Elgort (The Fault In Our Stars, Divergent)
Scott Eastwood (The Longest Ride)
Logan Lerman (Fury, Percy Jackson)
Blake Jenner (Glee)
Jack Reynor (Transformers: Age Of Extinction)
Dave Franco (Neighbors)
What do you guys think of the choices above?
