The Epic Games Store continues to make some real inroads in the PC market space. To be fair, if anyone was going to challenge Steam’s dominance it was probably going to be Epic with all the money they have been raking in. Hell, it’s the same strategy that Valve used to get people onto Steam. Epic used th cash and power of Fortnite, while Valve used Counter Strike to shift people onto Steam.
One great way the Epic Games Store is getting people over to it is their free game offerings. They aren’t the first to do this, but at least they have a strong platform that gets you to stick around and see what else is on offer. Look, we all know the only reason you load up Origin or whatever Ubisoft has is for the free games they sometimes throw out.
So, head on over to the Epic Games Store to snag a copy of The Witness when it in the near future. In the meantime you can still snag Oxenfree, another pretty solid game, for free until its time runs out.
