The ‘White Wolf’ Geralt of Rivia Comes To Soulcalibur VI

Geralt of Rivia from the Witcher game series developed by CD Projekt joins the roster of SOULCALIBUR VI as a guest character!

A few days ago the team from CDProjekt Red announced that Geralt of Rivia would be appearing in a game outside of the Witcher series. This had us excited, but we had no idea that the game would be the upcoming Soulcalibur VI. Heck, we didn’t even expect word of said game for several months, but Bandai Namco had other plans!

Doug Cockle — the English voice of Geralt of Rivia — returns in SOULCALIBUR VI to reprise the role. Gamers will also be able to fight in Kaer Morhen — home keep of the School of the Wolf. Accompanying players in battle will be “Hunt or be Hunted” — an iconic composition from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt soundtrack.

The above trailer shows off Geralt in action, brining along with him a number of his special abilities. The SOULCALIBUR series has always been known for brining in gues characters over the years. We’ve seen the likes of Ezio from Assassin’s Creed (which sort of fit), to Link from the Legend of Zelda, and even Darth Vader.

At least Geralt fits better into the SOULCALIBUR series than most guest characters that came before him. And it looks like Soulcalibur VI is now on my list of games I need to snag on day one!
