The Sinking City Nintendo Switch Gameplay Looks Spooky

After the reveal of The Sinking City coming to the Nintendo Switch at this year’s E3 Nintendo Direct, Frogwares has now released the first gameplay footage of the game running on the console. The Sinking City on the Nintendo Switch is not just a standard port. The team has worked on multiple improvements and tweaks based on player feedback.

After just finishing writing about the worst Nintendo Switch port ever it’s so refreshing to get a trailer like this from the people over at Frogwares. This isn’t just a random trailer that’s been dumbed down visually for the Switch. The team lays out all they changed, the limitations of the Switch, the tricks they used, and the work they put into this port. Much respect to the team for being so open and for getting the Switch to look damn impressive.

The Sinking City is a story-rich, free investigation game set in a twisted H.P Lovecraft inspired universe. Step into Oakmont, Massachusetts – a place suffering decay and rot from unprecedented supernatural floods that slowly envelope the city and the minds of its inhabitants.

This is the world in which your character, private investigator Charles W. Reed, finds himself in. While slowly going insane from your own demons, you will need to use your detective skills to reveal the truth behind the unfathomable powers gripping you, the city, and its deranged citizens.
