I gave most of my formative years to playing The Sims. I had a lot of fun playing The Sims 2 because of the visual upgrade, but stopped playing after that, mostly because the game felt undercooked and lacking features that were in the original every iteration.
But I’ve heard pretty good things about The Sims 4, now being one of EA’s longest-running games with update after update. If there was a time to get back into The Sims, now would be the perfect time. What’s better is that EA is making The Sims 4 free until May 28th.
You can head over to Origin and pick up the title for the next week. If you ever wanted to dive back into The Sims this is your chance. No doubt the game is at the tail-end of it’s lifespan, so giving it away and hoping you invest in some DLC content is a smart move.
