Your wallet is already dead.
Hope you’re ready to pony up more cash for that Amazon Prime subscription. In an earnings call yesterday, Amazon’s CFO Brian Olsavsky let it slip that the price was about to go up. Soon, an Amazon Prime subscription is going to cost you $119, up from the $99 it’s been for a few years now.
Granted, Olsavsky makes a good point about the hike; things have definitely changed since 2014. Amazon Prime now offers a larger number of services to the end-user, and all that has to get paid for somehow.
Regardless, the change doesn’t come in until June 16th, so you have a little more time with that extra chunk of change.
