Marvel has put together a nice little vignette that goes into detail and explains the Infinity Stones and what role they play in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“There were six singularities. Then the Universe exploded into existence and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots: Infinity Stones.” —The Collector

So far we have seen four stones appear within various marvel movies; The Space Stone (Captain America: The First Avenger), The Reality Stone (Thor: The Dark World), The Power Stone (Guardians Of The Galaxy) and The Mind Stone (The Avengers: Age of Ultron).

We know that there are two remaining stones that are still in play somewhere in the galaxy. These stones are The Soul Stone and The Time Stone which will play a major role within Infinity War. Check out the full video below:
