Surfin’ Musk?
Tesla makes a lot of things to go along with their vehicles and the like. Specifically, things that fit along aesthetically, as well as, say, in their vehicles. And in this case, they made just such a thing for their cars: a surfboard.
Unfortunately, the page is gone, as the limited run (200 units) of these surfboards has already sold out. But if it was still up, you’d be greeted by the following pitch:
Designed by the Tesla Design Studio in collaboration with Lost Surfboards and Matt “Mayhem” Biolos, surfboard shaper for World Surf League Championship athletes. The Limited Edition Tesla Surfboard features a mix of the same high-quality matte and gloss finishes used on all our cars. The deck is reinforced with light-weight “Black Dart” carbon fiber, inspired by the interiors in our cars, and featuring tonal logos in subtle contrast gloss.
Oh, yeah, and it cost those 200 people $1500 a piece. So, you know, probably only reasonable to the kind of people that own Tesla vehicles in the first place.
