Telltale Takes On Batman In 2016

Telltale Batman

I will be the first to admit that I love Telltale and what they have done for the point-and-click adventure genre over the past several years. From the amazing Tales From The Borderlands, to Game of Thrones, to The Wold Among Us, the company has had a pretty solid track record.

I am also an enormous fan of Batman despite how dark DC keeps trying to make him. The character is in danger of becoming so dark he implodes into himself creating a massive black hole that sucks up all of the DC universe. Hey, DC, if you want to use that as a future storyline I’m available to write it.

This news of Telltale and Batman coming together should have me all sorts of excited, and yet I’m not. Telltale seems to be spreading themselves to thin in many respects, and with so many IPs on the books, I’m going into this one with optimistic hesitation. Sure, lots of great hits, but Jurassic Park wasn’t good, and Minecraft is a mess.
