Can I keep Ned Stark’s head for a souvenir?
It seems Telltale Games may be closing its doors forever. The studio, known for their story-driven, and often licensed, games, has already laid off much of their staff. Of the previous 250 staff members, only 25 remain.
The studio was to shut down after it finishes the last episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season. However, even this final task was too much, and the game will remain unfinished. This means that other projects that had yet to enter production, like The Wolf Among Us 2 and their planned Stranger Things game, will not be made. Studio CEO Pete Hawley issued the following statement via Twitter:
