You know, I never quite figured out the yellow jumpsuit.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, the brand-new beat-’em up inspired by the Konami classics, is still on the way. But they weren’t content with just having the Turtles. They decided to spice things up a bit; as the trailer at Gamescom shows, they’re adding April O’Neil into the mix.
She has a number of attacks where she bludgeons enemies with her (probably still fairly expensive) broadcast mic and camera. And the kicks she uses aside from that are highly reminiscent of Chun-li, not to mention dem thighs. Per DotEmu’s video description:
Her agility and far-reaching slide kicks help her close in on targets quickly, and she once again proves the turtles can rely on her unwavering support, even through slices of pizza.
The trailer also showcases some team-up moves; Leonardo tosses her like a human cannonball across the screen at one point. Also, it seems April, at the very least, is able to revive others with a slice of pizza.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge hits Nintendo Switch and PC in 2022.
