Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Fangame Boasts Crazy Roster

Cowabunga!

Just… just sing along to it.

You know, it’s kind of a rarity that fangames based on any reasonably-sized property ever see the light of day. And there’s a pretty good reason; the devs can never help but blurt it out the second they begin working on it.

Which is why it’s pretty rad that this one crossed the finish line. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rescue-Palooza! is out right now, and it’s green free! And, that title? That’s because pretty much every character you could imagine is in the game.

Shedder decided what would really get one over on those turtles is if he kidnapped all of their friends. And so your job is to save all of them. And even better? After you save them, they become playable. If it was in the cartoon, it’s in the game. Including voice clips. Hell, if it had a toy, chances are that it’s in the game. April? Casey? In the game. Mondo Gecko? Irma? In the game. Miyamoto Usagi, whose series (Usagi Yojimbo) you should probably read? In the game.

As for how it plays? Well, mostly like the Konami games that came out in the 90’s, like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project or the arcade games. So, you know, good.

You can download the game right now by going to this link at developer Merso X’s site. And you probably should. No telling when the Foot Clan lawyers will strike.
