‘TauCeti Unknown Origin’ is a sci-fi based co-op FPS coming to pretty much everything

Indie game developer and publisher BadFly Interactive has announced TauCeti Unknown Origin, a new action-centered co-op sci-fi FPS currently in development for PS4, XBOX ONE, PC, PC-VR and mobile platforms. TauCeti Unknown Origin offers an original and epic gameplay experience set in an exciting and exotic space world.

The trailer (above) show what looks to be quite the pretty game, but if you read the opening paragraph you’ll probably be concerned as the game lists mobile platforms as a release. While not a killer like it used to be, games like that tend to be developed for mobiles and then ported to consoles, because let’s face it, your little Android phone isn’t pushing the power of a PS4.

In TauCeti Unknown Origin, your space ship, the famed ESS Meridian (apparently from the studio’s older game Dead effect 2) has gone haywire and crashed; luckily you managed to use the only working escape pod, which has sent you straight to TauCeti f, a strange and unknown land ready to be explored.

TauCeti Unknown Origin is a pretty, but dangerous place. It features a thick tropical rainforest, deep canyons, a great rover and ruins of stone buildings. Temples of ancient civilizations might offer shelter, but also hides danger. The natives are something to experience! Throughout the environment, you may discover shattered parts from your broken vessel.
