‘Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag’ brings the anime series to mobile devices for the first time

Sword Art Online is an anime that is essential the anime version of the video game .hack. It’s also really good until it ruins everything by the end of season one when it just becomes another harem anime show.

Anyways, Bandai Namco has brought the popular anime and novel series to mobile platforms in the west for the first time with SWORD ART ONLINE: Memory Defrag on the App Store and Google Play.

SWORD ART ONLINE: Memory Defrag puts players in control of Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, and other fan favorite characters set directly in storylines from the original anime along with an all-new story created for the game.

If this sounds like something that tickles your fancy the game can be downloaded free from the App Store and Google Play. Players who download the game for a limited time will be rewarded with special limited-time items including character unlocks, special items and more.
