Maybe, when you were a kid, you imagined what it would be like to be in a video game. Maybe its because you watched those old DiC shows like the Super Mario Bros. Super Show or Captain N (and didn’t realize that those shows were kinda shit).
Maybe it’s because you didn’t realize that living in a world where you can die horribly, repeatedly, is many people’s idea of Hell. But that little spark might be jolted alive by Super Nintendo Land.
Super Nintendo Land is a project coming to Universal Studios theme parks around the world, starting with Japan, with Florida and Los Angeles to follow. The teaser video above gives you a general idea of what’s planned to come, with the castles and buildings (and a bit of showman-like hyperbole).
No idea what the attractions will be like, however. Needless to say, the wide world of Nintendo is rife with possibilities. Hell, SEGA made a run at a theme park back during the height of their brand. I imagine Super Nintendo World won’t pass from the earth quite so quickly.
