The Super Nintendo Classic Edition is coming this September

Update: The console is set to retail for $90

Now you’re playing with super power!

The rumors are true! Nintendo is officially releasing another mini retro consoles with the upcoming Super NES Classic Edition. After the amazing success of the NES Mini late last year (I was never able to find one) it only made sense to people that they would do the same for the Super Nintendo.

This new console, that will probably be sold out in seconds and on eBay at huge markups,  will let you play 21 Super Nintendo classics. We don’t have a full list of the games at the time of this writing, but we know the Super NES Mini will include the previously unreleased Star Fox 2!

Current games the system comes with include: Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario Kart, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. The console will also come with two wired controllers. The only thing we don’t know is the price, but fingers crossed it’s at the same point as the NES Mini was at $60.

The Super NES Classic Edition launches September 29!
