Super Mario Run has been doing pretty nicely for Nintendo over on iOS. It;s the first true Nintendo game to hit a smartphone, and fans have had a lot of nice things to say about the game.
But soon Android users are going to be able to get in on the fun when the games launches in a few days. Odds are the game is going to top the Google Play Store charts much like it did on iOS when it launched there late last year.
The iOS version of the game will also be getting a small update so Apple users won’t be left out of the fun. The game will be free-to-play with the option to buy the full version.
That said, only about 5% of iOS users have paid to unlock the full game. Not sure what this says about the game not having played it, but the free version might be offering up more than enough content for players.
Super Mario Run hit Android devices on March 23.
