The Pokemon love continues as the original starters from Pokémon Red and Blue have been added to Super Mario Maker. And guys, these things are freaking adorable! You can check out the sprites in action in the video below. All the original Game Boy animations and sounds are here in all their glory. To access these little buggers you just need the correct mystery mushroom.

When Super Mario Maker came out I shouted from the mountain tops that the game would have some serious staying power, and with releases like these still dropping, that sure seems to be the case. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some training to do!
