It’s-a-me, limited access!
A while back, Nintendo announced a slew of Mario content for the Switch. And among them, the Super Mario Bros. by way of battle royale, Super Mario Bros. 35. The game pits 35 players against each other in a race to get to the end of the level. And every obstacle overcome carries over to every other player; defeated enemies transfer over to other players’ worlds forcing them to deal with more than usually expected in a given level.
Well, it’s now available to Switch Online account holders. Aside from the cost of the Switch Online service, the game is free to download and play. Well, at least, for the next five months. After March 31st, 2021, the Super Mario Bros. 35 will be pulled down from the service completely. It’s, for some reason, a thing they’re doing with it.
