Streamer Successfully Streams UFC Pay-Per-View Event on Twitch

This is why there are still Pregnant Frozen Elsa and Spider-Man scat fetish videos on YouTube.

Streaming a pay-per-view event is something you’re not supposed to be able to do on Twitch. Their automated system will ping it almost immediately for removal. Unless, you convince the system that you’re actually playing a game. Which is exactly what streamer AJ Lester did last Saturday night.

According to Eurogamer, Lester wanted to stream a UFC event, but he knew it would be flagged if he just streamed it as is. So he tricked the system by pretending to play a UFC game, complete with facecam, commentary, and controller sounds. And it worked. Though he did delete the VOD sometime after.

Now, Lester has risen above and become legend. As to what this all means for his Twitch account, well, who knows? But that’s why automated systems will never get rid of those illegal South Park livestreams.
