Tanzia is billed as a single-player RPG that looks to combine fast-paced strategic combat with elements of favorite classic RPGs in an open 3D world of magic and monsters.That’s a mouthful to say, and a lot of video game buzzwords, but it has my attention.
The games world, story-centric design, and action gameplay were inspired by Nintendo’s approach to game design, especially the Legend of Zelda series. So it only makes sense that Tanzia is making its debut on the Nintendo Switch.
Tanzia’s story design was developed in collaboration with Kevin Saunders (whose previous work includes Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer, and Torment: Tides of Numenera).
Already in Early Access for the PC, the teams has switched gears to bring the final release of Tanzia to the Switch in December 2017.
