Stephen Merchant, the co-creator of The Office, has just joined the cast of the upcoming Wolverine 3. The 20th Centruy Fox film is the latest in the Hugh Jackman-starring X-Men spinnoff series.

Jackman has publicly stated that Wolverine 3 will be the last time he’ll be donning the claws, seventeen years after be began in the role. It’s crazy to think that its been almost 20 years of seeing the mutant onscreen.

No word has been given on to what character Merchant will be playing. All we know is that the film will feature Patrick Stewart as Professor X, and Boyd Holbrook (Narcos) as the films main villain.
