One thing we knew from the current run of Arrow was that Green Arrow would probably never sport the traditional blonde goatee from the comics. It made sense, even if many fans were a bit saddened about the news. But this looks to be one of those never say never moments, as Green Arrow will in fact be sporting the blonde goatee, as well as missing an arm in an upcoming episode of DC Legends of Tomorrow. Not only that, but we will also be meeting his future son and protege, Connor Hawke.

This future version of the Emerald Archer will see the actor sport a goatee, but more importantly we know that sometime in the future he also loses an arm; although it doesn’t seem to slow him down. While I don’t know of any occasion that Green Arrow lost an arm in the comics, it is pretty common knowledge that Speedy (Arsenal) does get his arm severed in the much hated “Rise of Arsenal mini-series.

It should be noted that DC Legends of Tomorrow is all about time travel, so the future Green Arrow may not in fact be the core timeline Green Arrow, as nothing is for certain when time travel is involved.
