Epic Games says it wont.
Soulja Boy is at it again not understanding how anything works. Talking with the nice folks over at COMPLEX, the king of saying and doing idiotic thing stated that his gaming console (he still hasn’t actually created an original one yet) will run the massive hit Fortnite.
It won’t. You know it won’t. Hell, none of his “consoles” actually play any new/modern games. The people over at DualShockers decided to do a little digging on those insane comments and got word from Epic Games themselves about it.
“No, you can’t play Fortnite on a rooted or jailbroken device due to anti-cheat measures.”
Now, Soulja Boy says his next console will run Fortnite, not the current hunk of junk he’s hawking for an inflated price. But if he keeps pushing out emulator boxes you won’t be seeing Fortnite running on it.
Soulja Boy is either one heck of a bullshit artist or just an idiot (the jury is still out but we are leaning toward the latter). He once claimed that Nintendo wanted in with his console even though, you know, they have their own console.
“I sold a million dollars in one day. Nintendo approached me…they were trying to see what the fuck was going on. ‘A young black kid just made a million dollars within 24 hours and our games are on the console. We want in.’”
