Sony has been making a lot of waves since we learned about the forthcoming PS4 NEO. While the company didn’t confirm the existence to the console, all signs pointed to it happening. Now Sony Interactive head Andrew House has confirmed the the new step-up console.
Thanks all well and good, but speaking with the Financial Times House stated that Sony would not be officially revealing the Neo at this year’s E3 event next week.
House stated that,
“It [The PS4 NEO] is intended to sit alongside and compliment the standard PS4.”
He continued by saying,
“We will be selling both through the life cycle.”
It’s strange that Sony, with its large presence at E3, won’t be using the show to show of the PS4 NEO. With word that the new console will hit the market this October, it is quite strange that Sony isn’t speaking more about it.
