It’s all part of the LOYFE cycle?!
Well, Sonic Colors Ultimate has been released, and… it’s full of glitches, both minor and serious. I wish I could say I was surprised, but I was a Sega kid. This is probably, however, the worst it’s ever been, and while it affects all releases, it’s particularly bad on Switch.
But don’t just take one source for it:
For what it’s worth, Sega’s going to put considerable effort into patching the game. Especially after the day 1 patch apparently didn’t do much. But that’s not quite enough for everybody.
Some claim that they’ve gotten a refund calling Nintendo’s support line and asking on the basis of the sheer number and severity of issues with the game.
Again, it’s entirely likely that Sega will eventually patch all of this nonsense to a functional state. But if you can’t wait, you can contact Nintendo customer support. Remember to be calm, rational, and explain, in detail, why you want a refund.
