It’s alive!
Do you miss the joy of flicking your phone open to make a call, or shut to hang up in a huff? Well, Samsung’s got you covered with the Leader 8. And no, it’s not a mid 2000’s potato; rather a smart phone with specs to match the current crop.
The Leader 8 sports 2 4.2-inch full HD AMOLED displays, one for inside the phone and one for outside, so you don’t need to hold the thing awkwardly to use the touch features for an app or game. they even slapped some polish on the older features; a programmable hotkey on the T9 keyboard, a dedicated text button, and wireless charging. You even get the standard dual facing cameras; a 12 megapixel outer camera and a 5 megapixel inner.
And even though it’s only 15.9 mm thick, it’s still got some powerful guts; a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. With a micro SD option as well.
Sadly, this phone is destined only for the Chinese market. Samsung has no intentions of bringing it elsewhere, and without a SIM card slot, you can’t import it. Oh well, at least there are other ways to play Starfleet Captain with your phone.
