Most of experience with Archie & the gang is related to the Archie Joke Generating Laugh Unit 3000 (AJGLU 3000 for short). Specifically, man’s struggle with its attempts at the human concept of humor. And also how Archie was a little shit when he was a kid. But Archie Comics does have other properties, Including Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
With the success of Riverdale, eyes were turned to one of Archie Comics’ other properties, in this case Sabrina. And in the same vein as Riverdale, it wouldn’t be as light-hearted as the most well known version of the source. In this case, taking more after The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series was initially headed to The CW. But that plan changed: now it’s Netflix-bound, and it’s already been preordered for a 2 season run.
There’s been no announced date as to when the series will materialize. Though one might guess some time next year.
