You’ve got big guts?
We talked about John Romero’s new Doom episode Sigil a little ways back. But it’s more relevant now. Because it’s out, and you can get it here.
Granted, the MIDI version of Sigil is free. You can also buy a version with a metal soundtrack by Buckethead for €6.66 (or a less thematically appropriate $7.50).
Overall, though, how many times can you say that a game as old as Doom gets such a big release over 20 years later? Crack open a Dew, warm up your old copy of Doom, and get to slaying. Just, uh, realize Ultra-Violence is mostly meant to troll you for your hubris; start off at Hurt Me Plenty if you really want to enjoy your first time through. Or at least, that’s what everyone’s saying.
