Nintendo dropped an internet bomb during their ‘Indie Hightlights’ video. Windjammers 2 was announced and the internet (or just me) rejoiced to the Nintendo gods.

Windjammers is objectively the greatest sports arcade game is created. I have such a love for the title that I own a New Geo cabinet with cart. You could could say I’m a fan of the game, and this coming from someone who hates sports titles.

Windjammer 2 is being brought to us by the people over at DotEmu with an expected release date of sometime in 2019. Now everyone that has said we’d never have another iteration can suck it!
