Razer Phone 2 hits AT&T exclusively this Friday

Are you excited to get your game on with the new Razer Phone 2? Well, I hope AT&T is your carrier because that’s who is getting the handset starting this Friday. At the time of this writing AT&T is the only carrier in the United States to sell the phone on contract.

If you sign up for a 30-month AT&T Next plan –which feels like an eternity at this phone with how quickly new phones launch– you can snag the Razer Phone 2 for only $26.67 per month. That’s a pretty good deal, just be sure to take care of that phone and cross your fingers you don’t hate it, or something else catches your eye in the next three-years.

But don’t expect your podunk towns AT&T shop in the converted GameStop next to that weird knock-off dollar store to carry this handset. Only select brick and mortar stores will get a stock of this pretty new phone. But if you do have a big AT&T store near you, chances are they will be hosting a gaming event to show of the device.

Or, if you never leave the house or are under the age of thirty you can just order the Razer Phone 2 from  AT&T’s web store. It’s the perfect phone for playing PUBG, Fortnite and, well, that about it with regards to performance pushing games. This is a smartphone after all.

My Honor 6X plays PUBG just fine along with anything else I throw at it, so you can keep your rich phones and I’ll stick with my $200 handset. And when I want to game I’ll play the Xbox One I got with the money I saved on a flagship handset.
