Puzzle & Dragons has announced a Batman v. Superman event. In addition to a new Batman card added to what appears to be the DC collab REM, there will be a dungeon with enemies including Doomsday and the guy who played the guy who invented FaceBook a new Lex Luthor card.
The new Batman has an active skill that is a full board change (wood, dark and heal) as well as one turn haste. Leader skill is a mish-mash of popular God cards, with a max attack boost of 4x based on linked dark orbs, as well as 50% damage reduction for clearing 1 row of heal orbs. He’s spectacular; expect that you will never draw him unless you pour money into the REM, and consider yourself lucky if you draw him on a YOLO pull.
To match the new Batman card, several older DC cards got buffs and new ultimate forms. A quick breakdown:
Superman’s shiny new ult. removes his previous leader skill condition, making him much more useful overall, because running a light/physical team with an HP requirement is like trying to power an electric car with a child’s tricycle. He gains skill bind resist, a light row enhance, and devil killer awakenings, the last dovetailing nicely with the new Batman’s physical killer awakening.
Wonder Woman gets an ult. that really doesn’t make her any more useful. Her active is buffed to include 1 second of movement time for 1 turn. She got wood and light row enhancements and balanced killer awakenings. Still mostly useless outside of use as a stat stick or desperate Athena teams, still useless as a part of Green Zhuge Liang teams, still incredibly niche as a leader in her own right.
Supergirl got a buff to her leader skill to include an unconditional 1.5 attack and recovery for healer and physical types. Otherwise, still one of the best DC draws since she works like the Chinese God cards.
Green Arrow had his active buffed to include Light orb enhancement. Greeen Arrow got shafted again. But that’s just my opinion.
