Pre-Orders Open for Evercade Cartridges #11 (‘Xeno Crisis / Tanglewood Dual Game Cartridge’) and #12 (‘The Oliver Twins Collection’) now
The Evercade continues to do just about everything right when it comes to cartridge-based gaming. They are continually engaging with the community, keeping fans updated, and announcing new carts. I’m pretty sure this humble little handheld is going to end up with a larger game library than some handhelds released by major gaming companies.
Starting today the Evercade team’s next batch of cartridges are available for pre-order: #11 the award nominated indie game double pack “Xeno Crisis / Tanglewood Dual Game Cartridge” and #12 “The Oliver Twins Collection” featuring 11 games including 7 classic Dizzy games!
For those of you unaware, Evercade is a brand-new console that uses its own retro-style game cartridges – giving you a super simple, instant gaming experience – like the good old days. It features a 4.3” screen (the same size as the PSP) and TV output, so you can enjoy retro gaming at home or on the go!
Evercade has confirmed another (yet announced) cartridge is also in the pipeline and they plan to launch 4-5 cartridges this year alongside the 10 cartridges that are available from launch. They also recently announced that arcade games would be introduced to the console, expanding the potential library for this device even more!
