Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Drops Nov. 2014

In the inevitable deluge of Pokemon games, Nintendo have announced the release of the next two identical Pokemon games, because if we can get yo to buy two copies of the same why, why the hell not.

Seeing as Nintendo isn’t doing so hot at the moment (they just posted a 3rd straight year of loses) the Pokemon franchise is an IP that is helping them to keep afloat, even if it hasn’t evolved all that much in several years.

Not only have they run out of jewels and precious metals to name their game after, we can safely assume that the new upcoming Pokemon type will include things such Grass Type, Ground Type, Caring Type, (Insert something from the food pyramid here) Type, Reverse Osmosis Type and my favorite, Presidential Candidate Type.

You can check out the full press release below that includes some box art images. Now, if you’ll excuse me I’m going to go back to playing Pokemon Yellow. At least that game had Pokemon that at least tried to resemble real animals, mostly.
