Get ’em while they’re hot!
Last month saw the revival of PlayStation’s Play at Home campaign. Notably, they promised this year’s would be bigger and better than 2020’s. And today, they announced merely the beginning of that wider scope.
Which should’ve been obvious when I went to the store page yesterday and saw a huge section with only Ratchet & Clank in it.
Starting on March 25, they’re partnering with some of their favorite indie developers, as well as digging into their personal collection, to add another 9 games to their new Play at Home section in the PlayStation Store. They include the following:
- ABZÛ
- Enter the Gungeon
- Rez Infinite (PSVR Compatible)
- Subnautica
- The Witness
- Astro Bot Rescue Mission (PSVR Required to play)
- Moss (PSVR Required to play)
- Paper Beast (PSVR Required to play)
- Thumper (PSVR Required to play)
All of these games become available for free download, to keep, starting March 25 8:00pm PT / March 26 03:00 GMT / 04:00 CET through April 22 8:00pm PT / April 23 04:00 BST / 05:00 CEST.
In addition, their previously mentioned deal on Funimation/Wakanim has been extended, running from March 25 to April 22.
But they said 10 games, right? Well, they were saving the biggest for last. Because, much like with Ratchet & Clank (PS4), they’re offering up Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Addition for free starting April 19 8:00pm PT / April 20 04:00 BST / 05:00 CEST and ending May 14 8:00pm Pacific Time / May 15 04:00 BST / 05:00 CEST.
And even then, you’d think that’d be a good place to rest on their laurels. But no, they’re promising more news to share soon. One canonly imagine what’s coming next…
