PlayStation Now Is Officially Coming To PC!

We posted some time back about some rumors that PlayStation Plus was coming to the PC. While we were skeptical about it (seems like a bad idea as Sony could lose people looking to buy a console) it now has been officially announced via Sony.

If you are subscriber to PlayStation Now (which itself is getting a price hike soon) you’ll get access to 400 games that are now available on PC. There are too many to list, but Uncharted, God of War, and Ratchet & Clank franchises, as well as beloved PS3 games like The Last of Us and Journey are confirmed to work through the service.

A new DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adapter has also been announced so you can use you PS4 controller while playing. This will give you the special features of the DualShock if certain games use them. That being said, owning the USB Wireless Adapter isn’t required, as you can connect a DualShock 4 using a USB cable.

Here are the recommended specs for running PS Now on your PC:

  • Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
  • 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
  • 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
  • Sound card; USB port
