PDP revealed their new Cloud Remote for the PS4. Using Bluetooth and cloud-assisted programming tech, the Cloud Remote features auto-detect functionality that enables what PDP says is “hassle-free setup”, while allowing PS4 owners to effortlessly stream their favorite entertainment content in seconds.
“We created the Cloud Remote to address an increasing need for a simpler remote that helps deliver a more streamlined experience for accessing PlayStation 4 system’s media and entertainment apps,” said John Moore, SVP of Marketing of PDP. “In response, we are thrilled to offer a PDP Cloud Remote app that makes it possible for PS4 system owners to quickly set-up and manage all controls under one thumb!”
The compact design of the Cloud Remote features only the essential buttons that allow users to seamlessly use both the PS4 and core TV functionality. The remote makes it easy to use media playback functions and navigate entertainment apps, and it includes controls for power, input and TV volume.
The Cloud Remote for PlayStation 4 system is officially licensed by Sony Interactive Entertainment America, and will be available for an MSRP of $29.99.
