Moreover, Tender kinda shows up in the new books for Vampire: The Masquerade. And Paradox has left hints about making a new game adaptation for quite some time. So, really, it’s kind of a soft surprise that they’d drop an ARG now.
The app asks you a few questions, such as blood type (duh), your personality, interests, exposure to Anne Rice flashbacks; you know, the usual. They also plan to add quest to level up your profile at some point in the future.
There are also secret codes showing up in certain videos (no clue where that leads; a test on YouTube URL brought up an unavailable video), as well as a redacted memo from the fictional CEO of Tender. Not to mention an investigative website about the app. So yeah, they seem to be going all in on this.
